New Beginings

At the End of December Mike graduated from Brigham Young University- Idaho. He graduated in Earth Science Education. He still has to his student teaching this semester. He is teaching at Sugar Salem High School, just out side of Rexburg. So we are staying here in Rexburg till April and then heading to Colorado for the summer.

My parents came for Christmas a couple of days ofter Mike's parents had left. We had a quite Christmas eve and Christmas. On Christmas day we got to talk to my brother who is on a mission in London England. It was nice to hear from him again.

On new years eve our stake had a dance. Since we are the head of the activities committee for our ward we were responsible for helping decorate. There was pizza, games and dancing. It was a great time especially when my sister surprised us at the event. We had a great couple of days with Alena and Dan. Sadly Hunter did not show up when they were here.

We waited all Christmas break to see if I would go into labor but I did not. On the night of the 3rd we went in to the hospital to start my induction. My water broke around 4 in the morning. They did not start the patosin until 8 am on the monday.
About 7 hours later Hunter was born on January 4th 2010 at 3:05pm. He was 7lbs 9 oz and 20 in long.

For the first couple of days he slept all day and was awake all night crying. He is now a week and a half. and sleeps well at night only waking to eat. We is such a joy in our lives and we love him so much.

He had a little jaundice for a couple of days. He needed to ware a bili blanket. Here is him with it on.
