Thank full at thanksgiving.

We set up our Christmas Tree before we left because mike could not wait any longer.

Mike had the whole week off of school for thanksgiving. We had a few things that we needed to do before heading down to Provo for the week. For one I still had to get my H1N1 shot.

We drove down to Utah on Monday night. On Tuesday Alena still had school so we went to the Temple and shopping.

We tried to go to the new IN-N-OUT burger in Provo. But the we were so hungry we could not wait in the huge line the was out side and in the drive though.
On Tuesday night we meat up with one of my old friends from Ottawa at her house in Provo. Then we meet up with Alena and Dan to watch New MOON. I thought it was all right but I had just finished reading the book and the left out some of my favorite lines from Edward.

On Wednesday we went shopping again, because mike was frantically looking for a hat with an NHL team on it. We finally had time to wait in line for IN-N-OUT. I loved the fries but my burger was soggy by the end. Mike liked his four-by-four.

We were on our way to a Hockey game when we got in a car accident. Every one was OK and when we got home we had a doctors appointment and Hunter is doing great, he ended up kicking the monitor right on. I think he is another soccer player in the works.

We ended up going to the Hockey have just a little late and we all had a fun time. Utah won against Alaska 3-1.

On Thursday we spent the day with Dan's family at his grandma's and we also went to see the movie blind side. If you have a chance to watch this movie you should. It was funny and sad all in one. It had a little bit for every one.

On Friday we did a little shopping on Black Friday. We just got some movies on sale, while we were there we also bought some baby items. Latter in the day we went to see the lights on Temple square.

Mike is on a floor hockey team again this semester here are some pictures.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

We had a fun couple of day for Halloween. On Monday we carved some pumpkins.

Then we went to our ward Halloween party, and I was a pumpkin and mike was a hockey player.
We had fun dressing up and seeing all the cute costumes at the party. We can't wait to dress up our baby next year.

August adventures

A lot has happened in the last month here are some of our activities.

At the end of July Mike and I went camping near island park at a place called Buttermilk. The tent was a little small but it worked for one night. Then went to mesa falls the next day,but my camera was not working so we have no pictures of it.

Then my parents came into town and we went all over the place.
First we went to the Idaho falls Temple then we went to the civil defense caves, and went to the sand domes and had a bomb fire.

On august 15th it was are one year wedding anniversary. We spent the day in Idaho Falls and then spent the night at the Red lion hotel right by the river with a great view of the Temple.

On august 19th it was my 24th birthday. Mike got me some pick shoes. My parents had giving me my present while they were here. They gave me the whole twilight series and had a little party. Mike also backed me a special cake for my birthday. He is such a great husband.

This month we also found out that we are having a baby boy. I am Due January 5th 2010.

This is me on my 24th birthday at about 20 week.

I also end work this week, I am so excited but don't know what to do for the next four months or so.

some ups some downs

I guess life is full of ups and downs here are some that we have experienced in the last months or so. First Mike broke his pinky finger playing hockey. On the same night he thought he lost his wedding ring. A few days latter I got a job doing Home Health Care for an elderly lady with MS. Mike also found his ring it was in his gloves. I also got my green card in the mail that day, so now I am legal for two years.

My computer also decided that it did not like the Internet for a couple of times then decided not to turn on, so I have to fine a way to get at my pictures and documents out of it. I also had to go to Idaho falls to get my finger prints taken again this time for a back ground check for my job. The fuse on our microwave blow so we decided not to buy a $70 microwave because this is the second time in seven months that the same this has happened. So we bought a $10 one it is a lot smaller but it will do for now.

It may seem like a lot of downs in our life but they are just small bumps along the road of life and over all we are doing great.

Winter Fun

I just wanted to update people on our lives. Mike and I have been married for about six months now and time has gone by so fast. I am a few weeks away from getting my green card in the mail and we are very excited. Mike continues to go to school. He is now volunteering at the middle school and class teaching one day each. I still have not found a job, but continue to fill out applications. We went home to Ottawa Canada for Christmas this year. It was fun to get together with all the new additions to our family aka Mike and Dan.

For a Date on the long weekend Mike and I decided to got Ice skating. It was fun for a little bit but as usual my ankles started to hurt, Mike on the other hand skated for about an hour.
Mike has recently started to play on a floor hockey team this semester. He likes it a lot. Last night he played against my old roommate Alexis, it was nice to see her again.

Here are some of this pictures I took of Mike playing Hockey and us skating.
