Road Trip

We had a long trip from Rexburg Idaho to Carrollton Texas. We backed up all of our stuff on a truck and Mike's dad drove it to Colorado.

All of our stuff in one truck. A 17 foot Uhaul.

We left for Utah about five days latter. We had no furniture and were living out of a suit case. We had to clean out apartment, it took us about two days.

On April first we backed up the little bit of stuff we had which turned out to pack our little car full. We also stopped at IF before heading to Utah to pick up our new kitten. Malkin.

The cat did not stop meowing for about an hour after we picked him up.

We stopped by in Utah to visit Alena and Dan and also go to Mike's mission reunion.
We had lots of fun. It was a little cramped in their one bed room apartment. We also enjoyed some ice cream at the BYU creamery.

The next day we drove through the night to Mike's Grandma's. We arrived at about 5 in the morning. In Colorado we visited Mike's family is grandparents and his parents.
Grampa and Hunter
Mike, Great-grandma Staber, Hunter, Great-grandpa Staber.

In Colorado we celebrated Easter. Oma had Easter baskets for every one.

We again traveled through the night so Hunter would sleep through it all. Or most of it since it was a long drive. We stopped by in Lubbock for lunch and then traveled on to Dallas. It was really long, Hunter did well for most of it but was getting fussy for the last hour or so. He was just tried of all the driving and all the change.

We moved in to our new apartment about a week after we had left Rexburg. We are liking it here in Carrollton. It is much bigger here then Rexburg and I need a GPS to find most places. The first few days were crazy with boxes every were. About four days latter be had a clean house again.

We are all settled in. Mike is liking his job and I hopefully will start my office work job soon.
