December

December started out with it still being warm here in Texas. We went to a Santa Claus parade in Dennison. Hunter was a little grumpy and didn't want to get his picture taken

We also went to our ward Christmas party.

He was all smiles in the line to meet Santa but as soon as he got up on Santa's lap this is what happened.

Before we headed to Colorado we wanted to open some gifts from my parents. They were watching through the web cam as we opened our gifts.

I know this is very late but I thought that I should do it anyways before we get to far into Christmas.

Over thanks giving we went to Lake Jackson to visit Alena and Dan. We had a fun time hanging out together.

We went to the NASA space center. It was very interesting learning about space and what NASA has done. We saw a Canada arm, saw space ships and other interesting things.

We had a great turkey dinner for thanks giving care of Alena with alot of their friends.

Dan and Mike woke up extra early to go black Friday shopping for some DVD's. Then every one went to the mall for some great deals on Christmas gifts.

Then we exchanged Christmas gifts.

Hunter liked playing with antie Alena's gift.

Before we left we had to play the games we got for Christmas. We played a couple games of Apples to Apples.

Mike has been bugging me for a while about putting up our Christmas tree. So the day after we came home we put it up. Hunter likes to look at it and try to pull the ornaments down.

We are all excited about Christmas and Hunter's 1st Birthday.

Home Coming

I guess I am a little behind because I just looked at the pictures I wanted to post and some are from September.

Home Coming is one thing that my high school in Canada did not do. I was interested in what Mike's high school was doing so we went to some events.

First they had a parade with all the color guard, band, cheerleaders, football players, homecoming Queen nominees and all the clubs had a sweet hart. Mike is the assistant coach of the girls soccer team so he help nominate the Soccer sweet hart. I think her car was the most creative.

Of course Homecoming would not be complete with out a football game. The game was fun to watch but the Yellow Jackets lost.

Labor Day

It was nice to have Mike home all day for the long weekend. For Labor Day we went to a small beach of off lake Texoma which is 20 min from our house.

Family Visit

My parents came for a visit in August.

They flow in and thought it was really hot in Dallas. But they had on long sleeved shirts and every one was making fun of them.

The next day Mike and my Dad went to see the Dallas Cowboys play in there new stadium. They said it was huge.

My Dad loved swimming with hunter and just spending quality time. Mike and I got to go to the Temple a couple days before our anniversary. While we were in the Temple Hunter had all day alone to spend with Gran and Papa. I think they had a blast.

For our anniversary my parents took us out to the Cheesecake Factory. It was soo good. On our anniversary we made paella ( a Spanish dish) and an ice cream cake.

For my 25th birthday Mike gave me a spa day and I went out and got my hair and nails all done.

After that Alena and Dan came up for a weekend and had a really great time swimming and taking pictures.

Papa went home and we had Gran to ourselves for a whole week. It was fun just haning out and staying up late watching Veronica Mars.

My mom and I also went to see Eat Pray Love it was a good movie but the scenery was fantastic. I want to some day go and see those sights in person one day now.

We also finally got Hunter a real Crib he as been sleeping in a pack and play for 7 months now.
