Well, we had our baby early. He was due July5th, but he came on May 24th. He was 6 lbs. 1 oz. when he was born, with dark hair and dark blue eyes. We picked his name Landin basically because we liked it. Marcus comes from Mike's dad's name which is Mark, and Stanley comes from my papa's name. Hunter loves his baby brother, he'll kiss him and hug him and bring him his pacifier when he cries.
Speaking of pacifiers, we finally took away Hunters about a month ago, it was much easier then we expected. If we knew it was so easy, we wouldn't have waited until summer to do it.
We also found a house that we love and are in the process of buying. We close mid-August. Here are some pics.
This house is 2500 sq. ft., 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 2 car garage.

25 weeks

We are expecting baby boy #2 at the beginning of July.
As the title stats I am 25 weeks along with about 15 weeks left.
We are planing on naming him Landin.
We can't wait and are getting excited. I love to look at how tinny the newborn clothes are. I don't think that Hunter understands quite yet. But he has a few more months.
The baby is very active and kicks me all the time.

Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Hunter's Birthday!
So it has been a while since the last post. We spent last Thanksgiving with Mike's Grandma (his Dad's mom) and Grandma and Grandpa (his Mom's parents). For Christmas, we went to Ottawa to be with my family. There were quite a few of us. My parents, brother Niall, sister Alena and her husband Dan, Grandma from Scotland, Nana, Hunter, Mike, myself, and Jay.
We went to a museum, sledding, shopping, to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie, Mike, Niall, Dad, Dan, Alena, and Jay played soccer a couple of times and then hockey as well.
We all went to see Ottawa play against Calgary after Christmas. It was an awesome game.
Hunter had a lot of fun with Papa and Gran. He now has a love of trains because they took him to a train museum for his birthday.
After coming home from Canada, we celebrated his birthday here with Mike's parents, grandma and a few people that we know in Brush. He had a lot of fun.

Halloween
So this last halloween, we had a few different ideas for Hunter's costume: a hockey player, soccer player; but then it came to us, how about a doctors patient. We got some scrubs and a bandage for his head and tada...doctors patient. Here are some pics.
He looks like the Notorious B.I.G. from one of his album covers in this one.

Colorado Avalanche game!
So last week we went to the Avalanche game against the Oilers. Hunter enjoyed most of the game. He was cheering and kept on pointing to the action and saying "look." Here are so pics. As you can see we were pretty high up, but that was because we bought the tickets for $14 each. We actually had Waldo in front of us as well.
Colorado
So we've been in Colorado for a few months now and we are really enjoying it. Right now we live in Brush which is exactly how it sounds, in the brush of Colorado. We both work out here. Mike is a Spanish/ELL teacher in the middle school out here and Kala works as a paraprofessional in the Kindergarden classes. Hunter is going to daycare and is enjoying it some days. We have a house out here that we are living in. We like how easy it is to visit Mike's family and go to the mountains.

Mudding and Off-roading
So this last summer, we've spent some time in the mountains. We've done some day trips near Estes Park and Blackhawk and have had a lot of fun. Lately, we've just been doing some mudding literally next to our house. Here are some pics from this last weekend.

By the way, this is a 2008 Ford Escape XLT with a black carbon Bull bar and black taillight guards.

Fall Clean up.
When we moved in our lawn was mostly weeds. Mike has been working on it ever since. This after noon Mike was working on the lawn and Hunter had to help too. He also wanted to wear my work gloves. He loves to help out and do every thing that we are doing.
He his helping Dada pick up the dead grass, and playing some soccer.

Frozen hands

Hunter and Mike decided to buy ice cream from the ice cream van that was going down the street. Mike bought Hunter his own ice cream. Instead of holding the ice cream by the stick he was holding the chocolate covered ice cream part. As they were walking back from the truck Hunter started crying. His hands were so cold from holding the ice cream that his little hands hurt. He liked the ice cream so much that this did not stop him from eating it. By the time they reached the front door it was too much for him that he dropped the rest of it on the ground.

The Cat come back
You know that song "the cat came back the very next day. Yes, the cat came back. They thought he was gone, But the cat came back. He just wouldn't stay away."

Well this is what are week has felt like. Don't get me wrong we like our cat. It all started on the 9th. We were busy outside with cleaning the cars and what not. We had the back door open for a while. We finally came inside for the night. Mike went out a little later to throw the garbage out. On Sunday we just woke up and left for church. We came home and thought it funny that we didn't see the cat. He had hidden on we before so we thought nothing of it. When it was time for bed and he had still shown up we were getting a little worried. By Monday morning we did not know what happened to him. We didn't know if we got stuck some were, run off, or got locked out.
Well more then a week passed and we had given up on him. We had thought we had heard him a couple of times but we never found him. We had even gone as far as thinking of getting a dog and putting the cat stuff on Craigslist. Then last night we were watching TV and Mike said he heard the cat again. I turned the TV off and the fan. We could hear some soft meowing noise but we couldn't tell were it was coming from. I decided to go look at the back door. To my surprise there Mr. Kitty was trying to get back in.
We have no idea were he was for that long or how he got out, but we are very grateful that he is home safe now. I guess we will never know why but we can only imagine. I think he just wanted to go on a little vacation form us for a week or so and he was done and wanted to come home.
